Welcome to Campbell Creek Farm

 

A small holdings that caters to those who enjoy naturally raised lamb and turkey without the added chemicals or grain needed to produce a superior product.  My endevor is to raise the best flavoured lamb in BC.  The process is similar to veal as the lamb is still on mother's milk, pasture and freedom until being processed. It is pink, tender, flavourful and from a happy lamb that was raised on green grass and sunshine. Referred to, in Europe and Australia as *Milk Lamb*

 

 

My goal is to bring a healthy product from my farm to your table to enjoy!

 

 

The turkeys are roming freely to forgage on grass, seeds and insects.  They are not kept in pens or under wire covers, but go freely about the 20 acres to seek out their daily intake.  The meat is so incredibly different from anything that could come from a supermarket!!  

 

**Please NOTE - This is a breeding farm - I will only offer turkeys that are not up to breeding standard for consumption.  Limited quantilies will be designated for this purpose due to not being of breeding quality ie: not to standards of show quality APA or SOP. Orders will be filled only after June and I have decided which birds meets these standards**

 

 

 

As well, at Campbell Creek Farm, I seek to breed a true Heritage lineage of assorted fowl.  The Beltsville Small White Turkeys, the Giant Black Jersey (not available in 2015), Buff Orpington(not available in 2015), Silver Laced Wyandottes (not available in 2015),  White Chantecler chickens and White Call Ducks. 

 

In addition, I have recently added White Call Ducks ot quality show breeding lines to my growing collection.  These birds are from J&J Call Ducks of Manitoba and Izzy Dunham's Heather Hayes lines.  Simply adorable and SOOO small.

** As I have learned - not all birds are of good quality!!!**    In order to preserve the integrety of the breed - only a few pullets will be offered for sale ***no fertilized eggs or day olds.*** They will be hatched and offed for sale as unsexed (straight run) or sexed (after 4 months).  I hope to maintain and acheive SOP and APA standards on all the birds that leave my farm!

 

With this said, I do expect there will be those that wish to have birds for pets or just as egg producers.  I am all for this as they are wonderfull egg producers and there is a niche for this.  I strive to produce the best of the breed **

 

 

UPDATE!! FEBRUARY 2015

 

Expect True Ameraucana's to be seen on the site!!  Such FUN!!  I am hoping to offer a varity of White, BB and BBS Ameraucana's in 2016!  

 

Another breed to be offered in 2016 will be the Partridge Chanteclers - stock is from Sask. and well known for exceptional show lineage!

 

As well, I am tredding into the Polish Crele and Polish Frizzled world.  This will be very interesting and lots of fun to see the fluffy outcomes of certain crosses.  Stay in touch for pictures to come!
